Stockholm has no shortage of great bars, but when it comes to exceptional whisky experiences, MAP Petite Maison on Vasagatan stands apart. This summer and autumn, the bar is launching its most ambitious tasting calendar yet — three unmissable events for whisky lovers across the city.
About MAP Petite Maison
Opened in 2022 as the Stockholm sibling of the celebrated London whisky bar MAP Maison, MAP Petite Maison brings the same devotion to exceptional spirits and craft cocktails to the heart of Norrmalm. With an extensive list of Japanese, Scottish, American and Scandinavian whiskies — alongside a full cocktail programme and tapas-style afternoon tea — it's become one of Stockholm's most distinctive destinations.
The 2026 Pouring Calendar
Three guided tasting events are now bookable for 2026. Each is intimate, expert-led and strictly limited in numbers — so early booking is strongly recommended.
1. National Bourbon Day Tasting — Sunday 14th June, 350 SEK/pp
Celebrated every year on 14th June, National Bourbon Day is the perfect occasion to explore America's most iconic spirit. This guided tasting will take you through a curated selection of exceptional bourbons — from classic Kentucky expressions to small-batch rarities — with expert commentary on distillation, ageing and flavour profiles. At just 350 SEK per person, it's one of the best-value whisky events in Stockholm this summer.
2. High Coast Swedish Whisky Tasting — Sunday 9th August, 450 SEK/pp
Sweden's whisky scene is one of the most exciting in the world right now, and High Coast Distillery is leading the charge. Located in the dramatic landscapes of the High Coast World Heritage Site in Ångermanland, High Coast produces whiskies of remarkable depth and character. This evening tasting is a rare opportunity to explore their range in depth, guided by the MAP Petite Maison team.
3. Japanese Whisky Tasting: Suntory — Sunday 27th September, 450 SEK/pp
Suntory is the name behind some of the world's most celebrated Japanese whiskies — Yamazaki, Hakushu, Hibiki and Toki among them. This autumn tasting is a deep dive into the Suntory portfolio, exploring the full range of styles and expressions that have made Japanese whisky a global phenomenon. Limited to a small group for an intimate, unhurried experience.
How to Book
